Online semester enrollment

After enrolling online, you will receive a bill for semester fees due. You must pay the bill for the fall semster by 31 July, the one for the spring semester by 31 January. Please remember that you can only book modules after your semester fee has been paid and processed.

Important:
You can only enroll online once. If you need to change your personal data, you must write an email to the student administration office (Email: kanzlei@uzh.ch).

when you are enrolling as:

… a student/PhD candidate,
… a guest student,
… a student in a mobility program in Switzerland or abroad, or
… a student participating in Incoming-mobility.

Information about changing your course of study or your major
Choose
'URLAUBS-/PRAKTIKUMSGESUCH'
if you:

… are applying for a leave of absence due to pregnancy, childcare, illness (doctor's note required), military/civil service,
… are applying for a suspension of matriculation due to a non-compulsory internship, an independently organized period of mobility (in most cases a language course) or a period of study at a partner university (double degree program)

… have completed or would like to complete your studies, or
… you want to stop studying.
