Error message during login
Q: What does the error message that appears when I try to log on mean?
A: Two different error messages may appear:
- The error message E:ZCM_WS1:110 indicates that either your user name (s-number) or password has been entered incorrectly.
Proceed as follows:- Make sure you have entered your user name (e.g. s1234567) and password (case-sensitive) correctly.
- Make sure you have enabled JavaScript in your browser and that first-party cookies are accepted (for instructions, please refer to "No confirmation during data input").
- If the same error message still appears, then there is a problem with your UniAccess account. Please refer to the answer on passwords in "FAQ - Studying at the UZH".
- In particular in Internet Explorer, make sure that "www.uzh.ch" is set as a trusted site. For instructions on the procedure, please refer to the section on browser problems.
- Die error message E:ZCM_WS1:128 indicates that the maximum number of failed login attempts (three) has been reached.
Proceed as follows:- Exit your browser completely, re-start it and try to log on again.
- Make sure you have entered your user name (e.g. s1234567) and your password (case-sensitive) correctly. Please note that only s-Users are entitled to enroll, m-Users are not.
- If you are still unable to log on, try to log on at www.access.uzh.ch/ with your s-number and password.
- If further errors occur, then there is a problem with your UniAccess account. Please refer to the paragraph on passwords in "FAQ - Studying at the UZH".
