The Welcome Desk in the entrance area of the UZH main building is your first point of contact for information and questions about studying and campus life. We will support you during the opening hours below.
Our Opening Hours
During the lecture period:
Monday to Thursday: 8:00am–8:00pm
Friday: 8:00am–5:00pm
During the semester break:
Monday to Friday: 10:00am–4:00pm
The Welcome Desk will remain closed during the semester break after Easter and on public holidays according to the semester dates.
By Students for Students
The Welcome Desk is staffed by committed and experienced students who have been studying at the University of Zurich for several years – at Bachelor's, Master's or PhD level and in a wide range of subject areas. Thanks to their own studies, they are very familiar with university procedures and campus life.
